Money, at its core, is only a tool.

A through I [ A – I] explanations: Most of the things we think we can’t live without are considered luxuries to most of the world. It is simply on illusion that money will bring you happiness. Some of the most joyful people I know are far from wealthy and some of the wealthiest people I know are far from wealthy. Financial compensation does not succeed as a long-term motivator and the association between salary and job satisfaction is routinely shown to be very weak. There are troubles associated with poverty, few of us would debate that fact. Money also brings trouble of its own: it clouds moral judgement, it distorts empathy, it promotes pride and arrogance, it can be an addiction. We have heard the love of money is the root of all evil. But often times, the mere desire for more of it robs us of life as well. The desire for money consumes our time, wastes our energy, compromises our values, and limits our potential. Orson Welles once said, “The enemy of art is the absence of limitations. “I agree. And the enemy of life is the absence of boundaries. Whether they be social, financial, or moral, boundaries provide structure and a framework for life. Generosity has wonderful benefits. Generous people are happier, healthier, more admired, more satisfied with life, and have deeper relationships with others. Too many of us believe security can be adequately found in possessions. At its heart, money is nothing more than a tool to expedite trade. It saves us from making own clothes, tools, and furniture. Why is it important to be on this list? Because without money you can’t buy a house, car, gas, grocery’s or even clothes on your back. Ideal School

I believe it is possible to create an ideal school or classroom environment. There are ample examples in public and private schools throughout the US in which schools work tirelessly to shape their school culture to meet the needs of students and teachers. However, it is important to realize in this conversation about creating an ideal school or classroom that what is ideal for one child might not be ideal for another child. For a school or classroom to work as a learning space for a child it has to be a good match with the child’s needs, as well as the child’s personality. We are quick to expect children to adapt to their schools, but not expect schools to adapt to their students. So while there are ideal schools, I believe they come in different shapes and sizes.

  • An ideal school environment embraces the idea that ALL students can learn.
  • An ideal school environment works to build safe learning spaces for students.
  • An ideal school environment attracts teachers who are knowledgeable, care about student learning, and adapt their instruction to meet the needs of their learners
  • An ideal school environment tires to be nimble and adjust as the needs of students shift.
  • An ideal school environment works hard to make the curriculum relevant to the lives of students
  • An ideal school environment works hard to develop authentic measures for assessing student learning.
  • An ideal school environment recognizes that student success is a complex idea and measuring it must be accomplished with many tools.
  • An ideal school environment is led by people who value others, their voice and need for choice.

My school would look like an average school with high education. The campus would be on top of the South Eugene Hills. The name of the school would be Mountainview High School.  My walls would be burgundy, and my school would be red. High tech lighting with chairs and desks for the students and staff. I really think looks matter in an educational setting and the school should always be clean and organized in that environmental setting. It makes the school look professional and well prepared for students to learn.

Dream House & Community

We all dream and we all day dream, but one thing is real is my future ahead of me. Things that truly bring me happiness is to see myself being a nurse or maybe even doing something for the law. Something that would contain me helping people and my community. Goals: I will be living off the Oregon coast with my husband and hopefully have about two kids. We will own a house right off the beach and as always my car would be a 69′ Camaro. Everyday I would wake up to a beautiful family, a nice house, a great car and a wonderful job. How amazing would my life be? Pretty amazing!

Food & Diet

My diet is typically healthy for the most part, unless I’m in a major hurry to get somewhere and I stop for fast food. I normally eat at home all healthy food. Or I should say anything besides junk food. My mother is all about a clean healthy diet, so mostly everything comes from Trader Joe’s or any other health food store. Less sugar for my family = no bueno. We love sugar…. But we don’t hardly eat it unless we buy it ourselves. For breakfast: I usually make fresh fruit smoothies or eat granola cereal For lunch: A yummy homemade sandwich, a yogurt or Yokisoba noodles. For dinner: many varieties like homemade pizza, tacos with organic hard taco shells, spaghetti, Laab/ Vietnamese recipe that includes shredded steak, or even lasagna. Yogurt makes me happy & full of energy. My desert is ice creme with yummy chocolate pie. I try to stay to one unhealthy treat a week. My opinions for my diet are that I’m doing pretty good with what I’ve been eating. Less unhealthy food and more exercise is key.

Galaxy Note 4 vs Iphone 6 Plus

The Note 4 is only available in a 32GB model and at $599 SIM-free, it doesn’t come cheap. The iPhone 6 Plus in comparison starts from $619 for the 16GB model moving to $699 for the 64GB model and a whopping $789 for the 128GB 6 Plus. That’s a whole lot of money to own an iPhone 6 Plus, even at the entry-level price. If you wanted to match the Apple’s top-end storage capacity an additional 128GB microSD card is going to cost you around $60 pushing the Note 4 up around the $660 mark, which is still cheaper than the 64GB iPhone 6 Plus. If I were you I would get the Galaxy Note 4 simply because everything about the phone is very clear and worth every dollar.
